You have to make allowances for the fact that everything we're seeing tonight is real.

Very occasional updates at blog.particleman.org.
If you’re looking for a chance to harangue Greg Bovino when he’s out to dinner, I give better than even odds you’ll be able to find him at the Friday seafood buffet at the Barbara Worth CC. El Centro’s not overflowing with places a little Nazi’s going to eat at.

Normal thing for a major urban American newspaper to have to post.
Here's how to identify some crowd control munitions, canisters of which federal agents have left on the ground after deploying them against people in Minnesota. bit.ly/3YWp1jE

It may not currently be true that facial-recognition technology will identify people just from their eyes. But a) it also may be true, b) it will one day be true.

I suspect the typical ICE agent would be very uncomfortable hearing that their masks will not keep us from identifying them.

The thing that oppressors never seem to understand until it is far too late for them is that when your goons kill someone - anyone - you create dozens, if not hundreds, of people who will never, ever stop trying to figure out how to make you pay. They are more motivated than your goons are.

Perhaps the MSP should be rounding up Minnesota Republican leaders. For their own safety, till this whole thing blows over.

Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

Vidkun Quisling had more integrity, dignity and self-respect than Mike Johnson, and he faced the firing squad claiming to be innocent.
Mike Johnson accuses Norway of “making a political decision & not awarding the Nobel Prize to probably the most deserving individual in history of the prize. There are 8 to 10 wars & conflicts that’ve been resolved by President Trump, & he got snubbed.”

CEOs have to make decisions rapidly on the basis of very little information, to resolve problems that they do not have the time or resources to understand completely. It's quite reasonable that generative AI can help them make fast decisions that are less often wrong.

CEOs Say AI Is Making Work More Efficient. Employees Tell a Different Story.
How much time workers say the technology saves them on the job is vastly different from what executives report.

I just want to remind y'all, in case the attack on Venezuela, the Greenland shitshow, the slow-motion Kristallnacht in Minneapolis, the DOJ investigating the head of the Federal Reserve, and on and on have driven it from your mind, but the President of the United States is a pedophile.

It's very weird for someone to post this literally the same day that Mamdani is on The View clearly and patiently explaining why ICE should be disbanded.

I really thought watching Janja Garnbret in the 2024 IFSC finals was going to be the most amazing athleticism I saw this month.

one thing about every republican politician is that every last one of them is loyal to the party and disloyal to the republic. bill cassidy would knowingly murder american children to save the party. in fact, he did.
Also, if he's getting shivved by Trump anyway, why not return the favor and become one of the small group of Senators who can stop this nonsense.
Cassidy sentenced countless children to death, knowingly, by confirming RFK

and Trump stabs him in the back anyway

I hope it eats at him every miserable day of the rest of his life

From a Minnesotan: a hearty HELL NO to this. This man is a professional political consultant in DC raising $$ for a political party. There are endless better places to donate to actually help people here suffering and fighting against this nazi invasion. Here’s a start:

Greg Bovino definitely was not educated the expensive way, nor does he know his claret from his Beaujolais. He would like to have been Ronnie Kray, if he knew who that was, but he doesn’t.

He is, nonetheless, the model of a charmless man.

In the late 80s, Scott Adams wrote a parody of the then-bestselling management books that were in vogue: The Dilbert Principle.

It was an interesting book in that it was both satirical, especially in form, and yet it also had a point. Awful as Adams became, the point - the principle - was good:

The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.
