Sacking The Washington Post probably has Bezos high-fiving his yachted authoritarian friends, all thinking they’re noble Centurions putting a knife into some loudmouth Senator under cover of darkness and saving Rome in the process.

They fail to appreciate that they actually wrecked an aqueduct.

Yeah. Why not let all domestic security forces enter our homes w/o a warrant? Oh yeah, its unconstitutional and we fought a war over these kinds of abuses which the founders were concerned enough about to actually prohibit in our nation's founding document. Maybe the HS should read it sometime.
Mike Johnson speaks out against the use of judicial warrants in immigration cases:

This is a crime against humanity. RKO desecrated perhaps the greatest work in cinematic history. Now money-mad pirates are digging up the corpse and doing it again. Will an A.I. restoration of “The Magnificent Ambersons” right a historic wrong or desecrate a classic?

More than anything else, it's the fact that the SEC and DoJ were never ready to go to the mat against blatant violations of securities law (and DoJ was willing to look the other way on much, much worse stuff re his clearances).
