Today I stood on a corner in Hayward with four friends and held a sign. We sang, “K. Nome is a Chicken-Legged Ho.” We waved and cheered and urged people to honk. We had a few passersbys join and stop. The most excellent students from the middle school brought their own protest. It was wonderful.

A memo was released by ICE instructing agents to violate the U.S. Constitution. ICE told officers and agents that they can forcibly enter homes without warrants signed by judges. The memo was from ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons, was shared with Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn) by two whistleblowers.

Please take a moment to contact your U.S. Senators and urge them to oppose H.J. Res. 140. A short call, email, or message saying you care about clean water, wilderness, and public lands really does matter. If people stay quiet, this will pass quietly. If enough of us speak up, it doesn’t have to.

So the House is going to vote TOMORROW on the DHS funding bill that includes funding for ICE.
There's a real chance we can get Dems to vote NO on any bill with ICE funding to sink it.

There are some 20-30k ICE agents. There are approximately 250 million adults in the United States. The idea that we are helpless...is the biggest load of bullshit mindset one can have.
