People of Atlanta need your help to move new transit projects forward.

We have the funding, however CEO’s of the BeltLine, MARTA (our transit agency), & Mayor are obstructing a project from going to construction despite decades of public input & cross agency collaboration.

Contact info’s in link 👇
If you, like me are furious about the #Atlanta illegal change for the beltline eastside rail, consider emailing a few of these folks, like I did this morning. We need to let them know this is not okay. List with email address and some phone numbers: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

Gonna need more every day Atlantans, neighborhoods, NPUs, businesses, & organization to demand transportation projects move forward reliably.

It’s a (mis)management & delivery problem.

City Council has been highlighting for years.

Need the city to buck up & deliver what is owed.
No update on Trolley Trail Extension nor Spoke in Reynoldstown.

Seniors in electric wheelchairs roam the streets as blocks are without sidewalks or ADA ramps.

Parents continue to push strollers in streets.

This kind of smart, walkable, mixed-use urbanism is illegal to build in most American cities.

Poop Park Progress

I genuinely hope this mitigates the terrible and disgusting overflows that have happened to the surrounding community for so long.

Housing off Englewood coming along
February 8, 2026 at 8:59 PM
City of Atlanta owns *A LOT* of land off Englewood by Atlanta Beltline, including corners at South Boulevard as well as Hill St.

One is much smaller used for few city vehicles. Other is massive.

While of high value as is, also a potential huge financial windfall & housing opp 👀

New housing along South Boulevard & sidewalk installations in the distance.

Southside trail creeping along.

Honestly don’t know how they’re pouring so few feet of concrete a day.

Junkyard mostly cleared sans demo of building. I’d bet on more housing replacing it.

Street connection to Mercer & Parkside also imminent.

When you vote to protect urban space for cars, you are voting to deprive yourself of this type of environment.
At the current pace, it will take 400 years to build out Seattle's sidewalk network, but with home zones and shared streets, we have an opportunity to dramatically accelerate safer residential streets at a much lower cost.

New housing going up in Atlanta’s O4W

House next to Novel O4W demolished.

Unfortunately, also lots of previously reasonably priced apartments still demolished & various local business windows boarded up with no sign of movement.
