It’s time to elect fellow Creed fan @jasoncomix.bsky.social to the Park Board today!

District 4, it’s up to you.

Nine days ago, the DFL put out a statement condemning Elliott Engen and "his history of bigoted remarks".

Tonight, @governorwalz.mn.gov is speaking at a GOTV rally being organized by...Elliott Engen's friend and former staffer Julius Hernandez.

Make it make sense folks. Just so disappointing.

I’m with Council Member Chavez. I’m committed to doing whatever we can on the City Council to make Minneapolis a safe place for all Trans residents.
I’m sending love and care to our Trans community. I condemn the disgusting rhetoric targeting our Trans residents and the despicable calls to repeal legislation that makes Minnesota a Trans Refuge state. 1/

If you never want to work for the DFL again I feel ya (even if that’s what the worst people want) but I hope we can all channel our feelings into direct candidate work. Hopefully the park board candidate endorsements stick (what I’ve heard so far).

This is a horrific response. I’m disappointed that neighbors have to up with disgusting rhetoric targeting Trans residents.

We will not compromise on protecting our Trans neighbors. Period. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

If you read the “Better Minneapolis” blog posts you will find these disturbing comments unsurprising.
The DFL’s national unpopularity will persist if it insists on complete agreement on social issues. Some convention attendees expressed discomfort with the bathroom arrangements. Telling them their feelings are invalid is more likely to drive them out of the party than change their minds.

We normally don't air our dirty laundry at the DFL. But since Conrad is a candidate for public office, and now that the conventions are over, I feel it's important to let you all know that Conrad is not fit for leadership. He will never receive my vote again, for public office or DFL office.

This is correct. Any candidate cynically “triangulating” on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. There’s still so much time to advance candidates that DON’T suck.
I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
On a recent podcast Gavin Newsom tells Shawn Ryan how the Trans sports issue opened the door for him to change his mind on GAC for Trans Youth.

As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

There is no way I will be voting for him a 6th time.

When Jacob Frey first ran for mayor in 2017, he infamously promised to end homelessness in 5 years.

Eight years later, homelessness in Minneapolis is no better than when he first ran.

And since Mayor Frey can’t rely on actual data, he started making up his own.
