I don’t want anyone to receive threats, but for many years Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has enjoyed this sort of energy from President Trump when it’s been directed at her political enemies and now objects to it when she’s on the receiving end.

I've had a cell phone for 2yr only because my landline was unreliable. I heard that most people use cell phones while in the toilet (work, home & retail)& while walking in nature. This shocks me. Am I naive? Do people never have any down time? Do most people never shut off or put down their phones?

Got a letter today saying my ins is going up an ADDITIONAL $320/mo. Let me tell you, I know my House Rep and 2 Senators and they got an ear full today. Trump posting a meme shitting on Americans, the marble/gold Lincoln shitter, the billionaire ballroom & the Gatsby ball.. I'm pissed & won't let up.
Yes, it's never the fault of voters who might be expected to know the names of their local and state elected officials.
Far be it from me to point this out to an Atlantic reporter, but they only care about presidential elections because the national media, like, say, The Atlantic, give all their time and attention to presidential politics and make the president the main character in American life.

There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.
What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.
It also dismantles their narrative a little bit.
