Noooo! RIP Vernor Vinge, a sci-fi legend, one of the best to ever do it, much like Ted Chiang didn’t write huge amounts, but everything he did was at the highest level, True Names was the first real representation of cyberspace, even if he didn’t come up with the snappy name.
