WHY?
They're playing a shell game with people's lives so THEY can go home & enjoy the holidays. Did they get assurances to fund #LiHeap? Did they get ANYTHING AT ALL? Or did they throw people under the bus so they could get home for their lush holiday events while so many suffer, go hungry, live in fear?
One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law!
