It's clear from the article that ICE is *miserable* here. They're freezing their asses off and being harassed everywhere they go. Property managers aren't allowing them access to rental properties and people know their rights and aren't letting them in.

KEEP IT UP.

This seems logical but Dems solved* the whole problem of old-age health care costs in the mid-1960s and then they lost five of the next six presidential elections because by 1968 it was a solved problem and no one cared about it.

*Yes oversimplifying here and the rest of course.
i will amend my earlier tweet. whichever party solves the prices of housing *and child care* will rule america for a generation

I know multiple women who genuinely, truly believe that their children are more likely to die from a HPV vaccination side effect than they are from the cancers that HPV causes. I have no idea how you even begin to undo that level of mass psychosis in society.
I will never forgive RFK Jr. for what he’s done… never.

The layers of hell he has unleashed in many different areas — not just healthcare — over the past two decades have caused so much damage, it’s overwhelming.

He is one of the greatest villains of the 21st century.

Oh. Cool. Just as the President is using every power he can to suppress dissent and stifle speech, @whitehouse.senate.gov and the @judiciarydems.senate.gov are trying to hand Trump a new tool to suppress speech online.

What a joke.

Q: At the end of this year, those extended Obamacare subsidies expire. What's your message to those 24m Americans who will see their premiums go up?

TRUMP: Don't make it sound so bad. Obviously you're a sycophant for Democrats. You're obviously a provider of bad news for Republicans.

I know that AI is partly to blame for the younger generation’s struggle to write well, but I also think that the decline of reading is a key culprit. Reading great writing — Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Woolf, Austen, Bronte, etc. — helps to mold us into better writers and thinkers.
In American high schools, many teenagers are assigned few full books to read from beginning to end — often just one or two per year, according to researchers and thousands of responses to an informal reader survey by The New York Times. trib.al/gNp7kWK

It is bizarre to me that the same people always telling us about "thermostatic public opinion" do not take it into account when offering strategic advice!

The public is, predictably, herding in a pro-immigration direction. Imagine if Dems had just *stayed there*, stalwart, ready to meet them.
there are pundits who will say that immigration is trump's strongest issue and that picking fights around immigration helps him on the margins. but i think this misunderstands the way public opinion works, as evidenced by trump's declining fortunes on his handling of immigration.

Post-MAGA reforms need to include the placement of immigration courts under the Article III judiciary. Having them be hirelings of an unchecked executive enables too many shameless abuses.
Yes, because the original judge who issued the 2019 order had retired, they assigned it to an IJ appointed in Trump 1.0. On the bench, he was harsher than average. In Trump 2.0 he's been promoted into the highest tier of management over immigration judges.

So, you know, not exactly uninterested.
