Okay, it looks like I need to write a new lawsuit.
USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

I am surprised that young (millenial or younger) conservatives aren't shouting for the files to be released. For politicians, it gives them someone who is also just a puppet, and for corporate America, chances are your boss is in there. You could get a promotion!

this is exactly what the legal industry is dealing with
No one says to legit business owners, "hey I see there's an underground market selling toxic knock-offs of your product: how will you incorporate the toxic product AND protect your customers against its harms?" But apparently it's fine to make this suggestion to educators with respect to AI.

And yet ...
Freaking love this city and all the people in it so much….a bunch of people went and turned the 4 train into the Polar Express giving out toys to kids along the way from the Bronx to Brooklyn….shoutout to the @newyorkers.live account on IG for doing this 🙏 www.instagram.com/reel/DSnsvWS...

My wife bought me a 4 book choose your own adventure series based on the Oregon Trail. I have yet to make it to Chimney Rock (the end of the first book). I started just a bit ago and have already lost all of my oxen (The End), and I have lost my entire family to cholera (apso, The End).

There's no firm burden of proof for "high crimes and misdemeanors," but it's properly closer to a preponderance of the evidence than proof beyond a reasonable doubt. It's not a criminal proceeding, nobody's life or freedom is in jeopardy. It's an employment review. Likelier than not is sufficient.

When formerly incarcerated people are able to obtain work, it tends to be a low-paying position with little job security, keeping them well below the poverty line. “The No. 1 contributor to recidivism is poverty,” says a spokesperson for the Prison Policy Initiative.

ICE is required—by law—to ensure detainees are safe & their basic needs are met. It's clear this isn't the case. We NEED answers.

The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.
