i think if you want to have those disgusting LED headlights on your car, you should have to do a test where they blast you point blank with your own headlights and then you have 15 seconds to successfully complete some sort of vision-based task, and if you can't do it they push your car off a cliff

Sometimes keeping it simple is the best statement of all.

I sent this customer piece immediately to my husband with a big ol "SEE IT ISN'T JUST ME! THERE ARE DOZENS OF US! DOZENS!!!"

This was a fun one to paint, but all I can see is the things I want to change. Too monochrome, not enough contrast. Ah well, practice makes perfect. Get 'em next time.

i think out of all creatures on earth the virginia opossum would ordinarily be one of the easiest to convince of the cycle of samsara but every time one of them mentions suffering the others get so scared they pass out and shit themselves

thing about autism is if you work really hard for many years, you can learn through trial-and-error how to navigate social situations and interpersonal connections SO effectively that people don't really believe you're autistic anymore and resent you for not being perfect at nonverbal communication

I'm just here to show this off 'cause it was pretty. Don't ask me why I keep posting food and then dipping. I don't know how to behave right now.

Hey, hey, hey if you too are in need of a good chicken wing replacement-- may I introduce you to my new favorite thing?

Butler Soy Curls flavored with buffalo and wrapped in rice paper before baking. Eerily good.

If you haven't listened to Hayley Williams's newest album, please do yourself a favor. Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party is worth your time. Listen through from start to finish, 59mins.

("Kill Me" is a personal fav- been going through it lately and "go ahead and kill me, can't get much stronger.")

dreaming of the transcendent moment of the great snatch
When I was 9, my dad enrolled me in sleepaway camp without realizing that the camp was run by Christian evangelicals. Once the camp realized I was a Jew, they told the kids that the kid who won my soul to Christ first would get a big prize at the end of the week.

They gave me this comic to read.

Been cookin' up a storm, and sort of finally falling into vegetarianism in the process. This meal was actually accidentally vegan!

Been talking to my veggie coworker about it a lot and going back to recipes of my childhood. When I miss my mom, cooking a meal helps.
