I think a darker bucket sounds like a great idea too! My issue is using the same color across both 'bara and barrel, I think. Gotta up the contrast.

I like their use of tan, and shamelessly swiped their dashes and dots concept lol. It's such a good piece in general! I love Bisque Haus's catalogue.

Yesss! It's a shockingly difficult piece. I've seen a bunch at this point and all the brown just gets overwhelming. I tried to play with antiquing/underpainting but didn't push it enough.

This is my favorite customer rendition! I vastly prefer it and will likely redo my sample to be closer in tone.

Honestly I really like it, reads more adjacent to an antique woodblock print in the muted tones which is a fun contrast to the content itself.
