if non-flying people reside here, how recently in history did they arrive? so if there are accommodations for them, how established are they? any equivalent to hostile architecture eg. anti-perching spikes in certain areas? any major differences between the castle & other residential districts?

districts? has this changed over the years (eg. a once affluent area fallen into disrepair - why?). has it grown more accommodating of different citizens over time or has it become more restrictive? which body is considered 'default' to designers (what types of dragons? what size?)

yayy well i have a few questions i start off with when making a settlement which i think provide a good foundation - i'm sure you already know the founders/how old it is/etc but: which citizens are served by the architecture? which are marginalised by it? difference between good and undesirable -

aah i'm doing a similar thing myself with a vertical dragon airbase...i would offer to help brainstorm but my focus is usually more on the social aspects of the architecture (i.e what hierarchies are enforced by the structure) instead of the physical form itself. excited to see what u come up with

thank you :) this is a character from my books. it's an ongoing project that i've been working on since 2020 and i am coming close to finishing the second draft (total rewrite) of the third in the trilogy, so i wanted to commemorate all my hard work with a nice drawing

No problem! I actually enjoy writing alt text a lot, it feels like an exercise in quickly and accurately summarising a drawing in a way that is functional to screen readers while also capturing a little bit of the feel of the image as well.
