So the government refuses to lift a finger on cutting emissions and is rolling back climate action, now they're making sure that they don't have to lift a finger in helping Kiwis deal with the results of their inaction. May their houses all be on floodplains

(iirc) the world added more solar capacity in 2025 than in the last decade combined. we're at or over the tipping point. solar will be used not because it's environmentally friendly but because it's cheap as fuck
Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Ardern and Shaw, willfully or no, were taken for a ride by National and Fed Farmers on climate change. Nats/Feds delayed climate action with false promise of seeking 'consensus'. As soon as they had the power they ditched He Waka Eke Noa and 'Zero Carbon Act'. Don't get fooled again.
