I never remember to post this in time, but if you haven’t left for wherever you’re going for Thanksgiving yet, don’t forget to pack all your meds! And not just the prescription ones. Take antacids and ibuprofen and all the things you could possibly need to be a little more comfortable.

Went to Giant Eagle to pick up a prescription, and I was like 😬 over the possibility of it being a zoo in there, Thanksgiving week and all that. But I'd been craving a port wine cheese ball for days so I grabbed that and some crackers and, miracle of all miracles, found a self checkout with no line.

honestly, a lot of fanfic concrit is bad critique and unhelpful advice. even finding a good pro writing environment is hard, as workshops can become toxic. no one wins in those situations.

I 100% agree and would add that if you are hosting a holiday event and you do NOT have something festive, creative and delicious for your guests to drink without alcohol in it, you are actually an asshole

I feel like if they can give people 800k for a ghost written book every small time author should never feel bad about posting re their small press book or indie/self pub book or even trad pub midlist book.

I haven't been online much in the last week because I started Spravato treatments and I keep coming out of it with a very strong urge to avoid the internet. I've been rewatching a Kelly Reichardt film in the dark after every treatment, and it's always like "yeah, this was a much better choice."

I have an appt every day this week (regular doctor tomorrow, ketamine two days, therapy one day), and it is toooooo much. 😩 I want to cancel my reg doc appt tomorrow so bad, but my doc is always booked up for 2-3 months so I really shouldn’t.
