Trump was gleeful that the National Guardsman were attacked, he’s been trying to place them in harms way for months for his cheap theatrics. For him it was opportune that military personnel would come under fire as a growing number of US veterans are becoming vocal against him.

📈 2025 is shaping up as a comeback year
This year is on track for the strongest new-car registration month since before the pandemic (all propulsions).
BEV sales are clearly back in growth mode after a flat 2024 — a year I see as a setback for the transition.
2025 is starting to make up for it.

If the Trump Administration allows for Chinese production of EVs in the US (which may be unlikely but not impossible), the expectation should be something similar, though perhaps not right away.
