Someone please explain WTF is going on in the US.

We're pretty sure the 28 point plan came from @kadmitriev, because @SteveWitkoff admitted it.

@marcorubio confirmed this to US senators, calling it a Russian proposal.

Later he said it was US-authored.

What a clown show.🤡

Senators said Rubio told them the peace plan Trump is pushing Kyiv to accept is a “wish list” of the Russians and not the actual U.S. plan.

Russia drafted a 28 point surrender plan, handed it to the Trump team, and the regime delivered it to Kyiv unedited, demanding Zelensky sign it by Thanksgiving or lose all US support. Trump and Vance then promoted the plan exactly as Russia wrote it, verbatim, on TV, online, and in person.

I am always amazed by the willingness of people to captiulate to those who pretend to be tough guys against all the evidence to the contrary.

GOP, Reform, AfD, Cons, etc, all worship and fear Russia as some great power. Their followers then, in turn, worship those cowardly leaders. Makes no sense.
What a shit show. Everyone could see this plan was written by the Kremlin. Adopted by Witkoff and Trump who demanded Ukraine accept it by this Thursday. After a firestorm of objections by Europe and Republican senators it appears Rubio wants to distance himself from it.

I have a question.

Why is the US suddenly so urgently trying to push a capitulation agreement onto Ukraine? Why such a short deadline, and why is there no pressure on the Russians to follow up on the major success of recent US sanctions?

What do you guys think is going on here?

One of these quotes is real: Musk actually made this sick statement.

The other one most likely is not: Though you may have seen it before because it is very relevant now, it appears to be misattributed to Hannah Arendt.

& why no mention of Britain's temperate rainforests?

Can see why Labour waited for Lords stages before adding THIS to the Crime and Policing Bill.

Extending protest suppression to include vague ‘cumulative’ impacts (that could include OTHER protests!) will clearly be misused by police.

Lords must oppose this attack on our rights.
🚨 BREAKING: The government has tabled their plan to restrict repeat protests.

Demonstrations could now banned based on the 'cumulative disruption' that previous protests have caused in the area - regardless of if they have been organised by the same people or not.

This is worse than we feared.

This is deeply disappointing from Starmer.

The UK *helped design* this 'TFFF' fund, designed to stop deforestation, and supposedly 'continues to back the fund' (in theory). But now isn't putting any money into it 🤯

How embarrassing for the UK.
