I think this is a thing people don't get about Trump. He doesn't and has never had real friends, so he doesn't understand how they work.

He thinks that Minnesota is all Dem voters, so he believes that punishing them costs him nothing in votes.

I have friends in Minnesota, as do most people.

Pretty funny.

Although it should deeply worry every American that the US Admin has no clue about how Gen AI works. Especially as they remove any attempt to regulate it.

Which brings up the one problem I have with going full EV here in Germany. I am not allowed to tow with it. Which I need in order to put my boat in the water or go camping with a trailer. The reason for this makes sense, but there does need to be a solution or compromise found.

It is amazing that things have gone from 300 km range to 600 km in the 4 years I have owned my electric. Recharge times are also much improved.

It is now at the point where I will get rid of my long range off-roader ICE and my old electric local commuter and consolidate them into 1 electric 4x4 SUV

I am such a big fan of the Euro. I hate having to pay money to change money from one piece of arbitrary valued paper to another. Even worse is when I have to pay an additional fee to do this digitally.

The Euro is an economic superpower that boosts the EU.

It is pretty clear he is planning to still be President in 28.

Dems will win in 26, that will be invalidated, as he will not allow himself to be impeached. So he will save America by suspending Congress indefinitely. Which to be clear, he is shockingly allowed to do.

Then push concurrent theory.

There is no amount of appeasement that could satisfy the current US admin. The US will continue to interfere in UK elections until it gets a Reform UK Government, which would turn the UK into a US protectorate colony.

We all know this to be true and is clearly the end goal of Reform UK.
As I (and thousands of other people) predicted, Labour's non-deal with the USA wasn't worth the paper it isn't printed on.

Starmer set Britain up to be Trump's chew toy.

Absolutely catastrophic to have traded our EU membership for this turbocharged farce.

UK Passport renewed.

I had hoped to avoid doing so as I prefer to travel on my Canadian passport. Since Brexit my CAN passport is better respected and has more visa free destinations.

But, I also want to avoid another 6 hour queue at Heathrow when I return for a few days later this year. Worth it.

Talking about AI replacing workers is so broad as to be worthless. ATMs replaced bank tellers and Outlook replaced secretaries being dictated memos by their bosses.

Yet we didn’t talk about them replacing humans. We will see similar dynamics with LLMs. They will take over tasks not entire jobs.
An AI pioneer says the technology is 'limited' and won't replace humans anytime soon
