I think it’s a mistake to think that “some day we’ll all understand,” i.e., that there will be some cognitive utopia in the eschaton where we will finally understand why all the terrible things happened the way they did. This seems to be a tragic and mythological understanding of the Nothingness.

When I became homeless I had 5 min to put what I could in a small bag. I have known lots of foster kids who were treated like garbage, to the point I feel I was treated better on the street
This should be a global law. Kids should never be made to feel like garbage. Good Job NY! ❤️
