Local parents texting to say they’re staying home from trick or treating tonight after a US citizen got arrested a few blocks away this morning. Truly unbelievable that we now live like this
Worrying with friends about whether it’s safe to take the kids trick or treating tonight because we are afraid of the US government
A person I interviewed for this story told me her 8th grader recently read Night by Elie Wiesel in school and observed “it’s sort of like what’s happening here right now” in case you’re wondering how things are going for Chicago’s kids.

Four years ago this week China’s government released me from 1,019 days of wrongful detention as a political hostage. If not for heroic advocacy and diplomacy, I might still be in a cell there, with the crisis unresolved. I'm eternally grateful for my liberty. 🧵

My research (1) keeps track of what science papers creationists pay attention to (currently just over 8200) and (2) the much larger field (26,000 plus so far) that clarifies how they're misrepresenting what facts they did bump into (sort of).

If Prayer worked there'd be no Medical Science, no bad weather, no war, no death, it'd be banned in sports.

How's prayer in sports work if both sides pray? Does God have a go against His Own Self?

By the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, best not screw up them prayers. Or ELSE!

With a third death and limited effort to bring it under control, we are likely at 3,000 to 3,500 active cases in the US.

The mortality rate is 5x higher in unvaccinated populations.

The next pandemic is well underway.
A second measles death, this time an unvaccinated adult.

That means there are likely close to 850 cases, but right now, we can only account for about 170.

680 people are moving around in Alaska, California, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York City, Rhode Island, and Texas.

RFK Jr: "It used to be that everybody got measles. And the measles gave you lifetime protection against measles infection. The vaccine doesn't do that ... it used to be that very young kids were protected by breast milk. Women who get vaccinated do not provide that level of immunity."
