I'm an award-winning game designer currently based out of Edinburgh, Scotland. I create games from a queer anarchist communist perspective, help organize Edinburgh Indie Gamers, and actively build spaces to promote new creators.

I'm writing a larp system to use in the coming year. My first larp was Daughter of Twilight (don't @ me, it was the '90s), then GV Larp, ran games in the Cam for >5yrs (I said don't @ me), and have xp running most other styles of larp (from micro to fest). No Vampires is a great starting point.
There are also specific issues with the setting as a LRP and some of them are so core I'm now not convinced they're actually fixable without a total rewrite and which point I'd rather not call myself Vampire and avoid Vampire players in my modern supernatural LRPs. But that's another thread.

I agree with the desire for more nuance when talking about ttrpgs. I do think there is a reason to still use "System X supports Y style of play."

Ahh so if you’re new to Bluesky and you wanna grow here, I have a few tips:
1. USE ALT TEXT! This is very important!!!
2. Engage with the Bluesky community, don’t just post only!
3. Use hashtags, you don’t get shadow ban for using them!

Broadly agree, but there is a glaring error. Those doing reproductive labour (parents/carers, nurses, teachers, cleaners, etc), are massively undervalued and often go unpaid due to the feminised nature of the work. Many artists also have to undertake reproductive labour as well as persue their art.

A few years back, Toni Storm appeared on stacked Stardom show in London. Her and Kay Lee Ray posed with my partner at the times' queer kiddo, making their day. Absolutely amazing graps talent then, and has only got better and better as her characterisation skills have grown!
Merry Christmas everyone. I have to share this. Toni Storm is an incredible human being. She found out my neighbors kids are huge fans of hers and she recorded this video for them. She’s unhinged and she’s THE BEST! 😂
