Just one?
A black & white photo of two Italian immigrants on trial in the 1920s. On our left is Bartolomeo Vanzetti, and the right is Nicola Sacco. They are sitting looking towards the camera, wearing nice suits, yet handcuffed together in the middle and the man on our left is handcuffed to someone sitting out of shot. Sacco is clean shaven and wearing a bowtie. Vanzetti had a huge moustache. They have both been put on trial for murder of of a guard and paymaster, yet their trial was hampered by anti-immigrant and anti-anarchist sentiment.

Also an unusual take from someone connected to a revamp of a whole load of old parlor games without crediting any of the source mateiral.
I don't have a copy of the 1st edition of Once Upon A Time, but the copy on my shelf defo doesn't mention the liniage the game comes from at any point. Pictured is the credits section with a list of names and copyright details.

Spent my lunch reading Rising Star, a game which claims to be "The" sports ttrpg! I like the mechanics, effectively playing scenes, doing a wee mechanical thing, and tallying outcomes for the ending. 🧵

I'm back from Berlin and can share this rare moment, just seconds before I am hit with the design for a "big game". It isn't something I'm being paid for. It also isn't something I can publish myself. But I really just won at ttrpg design while taking a bus to engage with others art.
Tanya Floaker sits on a bus. They are a white queer with pink hair, a blue gradient face mask, a thin black apple-faux-leather collar with the perfect small silver hoop, and a botanical black dress with neon green and off white leaves. They are sat in a bus, looking up and out in contemplation, notebook and pen in hand. Their brain is contemplating the underlying feelings brought up in some of their favorite books of all time as a new city passes them by. Totally in the pocket,and unaware of the wave after wave of artistic splendour they will partake in that day.

28 collected is a large hardback volume with art on the cover depicting a humanoid pace with bug/gem like eyes, a flying skull, and a hand reaching out of the darkness, all in dark reds and browns. It is by John Blanche if that helps give the style any. On the bottom right corner, in stensil numbers, is the title 28 Collected. Grimdark doesn't even start to describe this.

Just arrived home to find Drink My Sweat by @queenregnant.bsky.social and pals. BOTTOMS the RPG wasn't something I expected to have in my hands today, but here we go!
A portrait-oriented zine. The top edge has the title "Drink My Sweat" in hot pink text. Satirical ttRPG Feminazi Stole My Ice Cream, by myself and @heyitsayls.bsky.social, is coming together well! The title comes from a short animation by @bombsfall.bsky.social, and the gameplay comes from the serious problem of how misogyny leads people to ignore reality.

I used to run with a pretty tough gang when I was younger.

The central character is reading a newspaper called the Junior Gazette they all have the most late 80s to early 90s looks, and not in a retro cool-looking way. Edinburgh Pride today. Handed out over 1000 fliers, two boxes of masks, and a bunch of ear plugs, all fulled by nervous energy. Then got the bus home and promptly collapsed asleep.

Lemongrab is an animated humanoid from Adventure Time who has a giant lemon head and bright yellow skin. He is sat up in bed, wearing gray pyjamas and with reading glasses on. Post a trio of awesomeness
Three Joshi (Japanese woman) wrestlers. On the left is Mayu Iwatani and is on sky blue costume and have a Blue belt.
