Anyone else just completely blindsided by the lack of international condemnation? I‘d honestly expected it to be pretty universal and instead we’ve got a bunch of countries (UK included!!) just kind of shrugging and saying “oh but you have to realise that Maduro wasn’t a great guy”

I say this often but it bears repeating: if you make your money from creating art then you NEED to find an art or craft where you just do it for fun and don't try to be perfect or make any money from it, and when anyone tells you to monetise it you say 'No', because otherwise your soul will die.

Got my parents the Chumbawamba rebel songs album for Christmas and they were like “……the tubthumping band?” and I was like “trust me, I think you’ll like it” and they did not look convinced *at all*. Anyway mum messaged me last night saying “lovely harmonies, very folky, such a surprise!”
