The entire pundit class has convinced people for so long that their “analysis” was somehow necessary and valuable when in reality it was just a con game to manufacture consent for bias-confirming “strategies” that only benefited the capitalist class and guaranteed pundits career security.

i'm glad Mamdani is likely to win but honestly the DNC should be, as an institution, Old Yellered as soon as humanly possible so people stop investing so much energy into a party whose primary successes are being incapable of learning from defeats or victories and avoiding popular decisions

this is actually a solid case study in why ‘just go into the trades’ is a bunch of foolishness: if you don’t know how to think or organize your thoughts or god forbid memorize then you’ll be just as much of a failure in jobs that don’t require a college degree as you will in jobs that do

Honestly today involved like watching multiple civil vehicles to attend to an overdose that would have been better and more rapidly handled by someone on a bike down to the way that flashing lights and white SUVs are taken generally as a vibe, like i am glad i didn't have to step in but (sighs)
