Sigmar help me, I'm feeling the pull of Mordheim. I think Irrevocably became a nerdling the moment a worker at the WotC store in the mall demo'd me on the Mordheim starter box when I was 11. Been learning recently that there is still a thriving (growing?) Mordheim scene and I cannot resist.

Getting a lot of new followers and I am not sure why, but if y’all are here for ttrpg stuff it’s important you know my main takes are: fun doesn’t exist, player characters don’t matter, and you never need to spend money on role playing games.

I love Trent's perspective as primarily a wargamer explaining the joy and surprise that the actual mechanisms of old D&D can create, without reference to tired and over-trodden OSR maxims. Maybe the OSR is dead, but old D&D is still a really fun game you can play.

I love Trent's perspective as primarily a wargamer explaining the joy and surprise that the actual mechanisms of old D&D can create, without reference to tired and over-trodden OSR maxims. Maybe the OSR is dead, but old D&D is still a really fun game you can play.
