No
Look, this recipe is good overall but describing the constituency of something as almost like a thinner version of something else feels like it's too many layers.

Do you remember when if you wanted to know anything about the people involved in a show you liked, or some element of it's production you had to go looking for it instead of there always being a podcast about it? I like Gillan and Darville, I think they're good but there's just so MUCH of EVERYTHING

Out of absolutely nowhere I just remembered Jessica Hynes' saying "That was... Boss Hogg" on Spaced and it has unaccountably destroyed me.

If you've not played Dispatch yet and you like superhero stuff, or you like "mismatched team of fuckups get their shit together and function as a unit" stuff, you absolutely should. Great writing and animation and also there's some gameplay too I guess.

Today's discourse has me thinking I don't have a lot of hopes for any sort of legacy but I DO hope I don't have thousands of people celebrating my death.

Dick Cheney won't see your mean jokes about his death, but Tony Blair will, hopefully.

I've seen so many videos with people lip syncing that "Whats Up" cover that it must be over now. I saw one with Gordon Ramsay doing it for goodness sake, surely it's all used up.

It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

Smyths is running an obviously AI generated ad on Amazon Prime Video shows and I hate it with every fibre of my being. It's like four people, a dog and a branch of their own store, it wouldn't have cost much to just film the thing

Because it’s cis kids.
The NHS will quite casually give cis kids whatever treatment they need, even PBs👇
No trials. No concerns about side effects. No moral panic.

Watched the first episode of Watson. A decent enough cast badly served by some dreadful expositionary dialog and a production that doesn't even let Moriarty stay dead for the entire pilot episode. It must get a lot better for this to have a second season.

There are so many comics where the DC or Marvel universe is just destroyed and every hero is either killed or corrupted in some way. Are these things interesting? I've read a few of them and they don't SEEM that interesting. Like, Kingdom Come had some sort of message behind it...

Yay! The BBC have kindly allowed our latest video to stay up as long as we don't monetize it (like that's ever gonna happen). youtu.be/FFxzLa67PC0?...

Also "Hard Man" Yaxley Lennon counts among his "hard man" crimes "using a false passport", "mortgage fraud" and "contempt of court". Obviously this entire concept is dumb but the "hard man" he's picked for us to unite behind is a coward who does shit crimes and never goes anywhere without bodyguards
The "hard-men" of Gondor were getting their shit kicked in until they were rescued by foreigners and a girl.

The Shire was doing fine until they let a fascist demagogue ("Sharkey" aka Saruman) take over, close the gates, impose a bunch of thug-enforced rules, and despoil nature for profit.

I'll never not be fascinated at the references that teenagers in Gilmore Girls make. What 2002 teenager is going to respond to "do you think this is funny" with "well, it's no Lenny Bruce routine"?
