I highly recommend people check out ghost.org, even if they don't have a newsletter or website themselves, so they can understand available alternatives, and the decisions content makers are making when they choose a platform. Ghost is nonprofit, and the platform is open-source.

Substack has a Nazi problem: they are the bar that let in the Nazis set up shop, because they get a cut of the action.

And just like people left Xwitter behind, they can leave substack behind. There are tools, there are alternatives.
