Federal agents used chemical weapons on Chicagoans at least 49 times — even after a judge said to stop.

Contrary to federal claims about attacks on agents, most of these incidents appear to involve nonviolent protesters or bystanders. blockclubchi.co/47PoaXb

the full scope of people disappeared is likely much larger but is obscured by heavy criminalization, social stigma, and fewer eyes and phones around to bear witness.

I did it because the government isn’t.

So here are some ideas

Write down 3-5 emotions that you felt strongly during the mobilization. Which one do you think will feel most accessible and motivating when you feel despair? Overwhelm?

This is such an important thread for Chicagoans #onhere -->

Keep in mind that what is happening in richer, whiter areas has been happening with so much more frequency in those neighborhoods that are less represented by folks on Bluesky.
Rogers Park and surrounding neighborhoods were hit hard by immigration enforcement activity over the weekend.

There's no competition here, but I want to name that the same heavy, violent, fast-moving abduction pattern has invaded the southwest side about three times a week for over a month now.

This story is so important, but it does not explain at all why the State of Idaho would have any ability to put these children in foster care when both their mother (still alive) and father live/lived in Chicago. It seems alarming that there is no seeming relationship between this family and Idaho.
ICE killed their father. Now they’re in foster care.

Silverio Villegas, a single father, was fatally shot by fed agents after he allegedly tried to flee a traffic stop in Franklin Park.

His family spoke to the Tribune of their grieve and their fight.
