Harvard has officially closed its office for LGBTQ life. They folded it into the office of culture and community.

There are affinity support offices for veterans and religious students but not for LGBTQ students, students of color, or women.

Absolute cowards.

Even those of you who oppose the war have turned it into some kind of a joke, a meme, an opportunity to be "correct" yet again. And I get it. It's too monstrous to contemplate fully.
We're too monstrous to contemplate fully.

Around 20 years ago, when I lived in Iran, I wondered what I would do, how I would grieve, what pain I would feel when and if my identity would be used to bomb the country. To destroy its culture and its people.

Civilians in #Gaza, #Israel & #Iran are paying the price for the violence of those in power.

The EU must act: suspend the EU-Israel Agreement, support peace voices in Israel, and stop looking away from Gaza.

Now is the time for diplomacy and de-escalation.

Israel is a rogue, genocidal state and it will continue acting like a rogue, genocidal state because it has been enabled for nearly two years to openly carry out a genocide. This will not stop until Israel is forced to stop but the states that can do so are instead enabling it to continue

It's never really about your "tone" it's about the fact that you said something they didn't want to hear, and in fact don't think you should even have the right or audacity to say to them.

Don't worry about how you come across when you are saying the truth. There is no approved way you can say it.

I don’t get how anyone can try to spin this into anything other than what it blatantly is. There is no Palestinian army. There is no way for Gaza, where the population is predominantly children to defend themselves. What Israel is doing is called a genocide because that is what it is.

All institutions are made up of individuals.

Individuals can say "no". If enough individuals refuse, orders don't get carried out.

It's hardest for the first person, but often you discover that others want to say "no", but haven't the practice that gives you courage.
