Yesterday, far-right groups and the Heritage Foundation held an event against LBGTQI+ rights in the European Parliament.
Among the speakers was Ugandan MP Lucy Akello who helped pass a law on the death penalty for gay people in Uganda.

Any decision to freeze or resume the EU–US trade talks cannot be made unilaterally. The President of the European Parliament represents the entire House - the will of democratic groups must be respected. Now is the time for de-escalation and to stand united in our respect for our institutions.
