I am a cis woman, and I'm the 6th grade I moved to a new town and got a very boyish short haircut that I thought was cute, but made every adult call me "Sir" and it was awful. The kids were even worse. But one especially stupid, cruel bully used to call me "she-bitch" and he thought it was SO CLEVER

Hey, you should watch Christmas Evil (1980).
Despite sounding like a generic killer Santa movie in the vein of Silent Night, Deadly Night, it's actually a lot more like Martin Scorsese (in King of Comedy / Taxi Driver mode) making a Christmas horror character study.

Bari Weiss is the logical endpoint of corporate media. This is what happens when people who hate journalism are in charge of it. The only way journalism works is when it’s independent from the power it’s supposed to hold to account, which means ownership can’t have anything to do with those in power
