I'm Em! I'm an illustrator and multimedia artist. I live in NYC with my husband and cats. In addition to posting my art, I talk about movies, music, politics and whatever else I'm interested in at the moment. I also repost dope art and have great taste.
Love whenever I decide to do a drawing on Photoshop instead of Clip Studio, because it's the industry standard and I want to feel more professional, some baffling crash happens or something vital stops working for no reason or it starts lagging randomly. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Also, I'll never forgive Disney for chickening out and giving Poe a big ol' case of the Not Gays. Here's some throwback yaoi fanart from 2017, which was before I, a lifelong fan, actively stopped giving a fuck about Star Wars because Disney hadn't yet wrung every drop of fun out of it.

Why he gotta be such a babe???
OSCAR ISAAC, on whether he'd return to "Star Wars":
".. Yeah. I mean, I’d be open to it, although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney. But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great."

Oscar Isaac Was ‘Not So Open to Working With Disney’ After Jimmy Kimmel Suspension, Said He’d Return to ‘Star Wars’ if Disney Does ‘Not Succumb to Fascism’
Oscar Isaac was not open to working with Disney after Jimmy Kimmel's suspension and will only return to 'Star Wars' if the studio avoids fascism.

So Boy Harsher actually seems like they make v good music that I would be into, but because of the name, I keep getting them mixed up with King Princess (who is like bottom-of-the-barrel meh to me) and BoyGenius (who is okay but Idk, I wish they'd be a little more rock n roll)

Watched AFTER LIFE (1998) last night, and it floored me. It's a humanist fantasy-drama with a succinct and fascinating after-life scenario, which it uses to explore...Regular people. What matters to them. What matters to you? If you could only live in one memory forever, what would you choose?

40 years ago we’d have congressional hearings falsely accusing metal bands of putting backwards messages in their songs that told kids to kill themselves & now we have a planet-killing chatbot that’s all like “bet you won’t commit suicide chickenshit bitch” & the government is like here’s $5 billion

"World's first potential trillionaire has killed 600,000 people, including 400,000 children" is the only headline that anyone should ever read about Elon Musk
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

Thinking about the time I reactivated my FB account to see if I could find funeral details and the first thing I saw was a person from my hometown reposting a very obviously AI image of Jesus hugging Charlie Kirk and I said "You know what? Someone will call me," and deactivated it again

The way all of these people convinced themselves that Mamdani is antisemitic is a subject far more worthy of media examination than any of the ‘groupthink on campuses!’ thinkpieces we’ve been subjected to
