Australia rejected the right's agenda, we'll see if Labor do the same
We are about to find out whether the Labor government has the bravery to govern without the approval of right-wingers.

Time to be brave Labor-deal “issues of integrity, religious protections, climate, sanctioning Israel, tax reform, poverty, inequality and housing “. No excuses, this is Australia’s chance. #auspol #binnight

No Labor govt since has dared to have a suite of policies as progressive.
That was one of the most damaging consequences of that atrocious act, and it is unforgivable.
I still maintain my rage.

Oh, I love this. A new species of sea anemone was discovered recently that parks itself on top of a hermit crab shell like a hat. It seems to feed partly off the crab's faeces, but it also excretes a hard shell that extends the crab's home. In return, it's carried around the seafloor like a king.

We’re supporting Russia’s war against Ukraine as we’re supporting Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians. We’re also undermining international efforts to stop climate change. Sometimes our governments say the right things but in practice we’re just cunts.

Tomorrow morning I'll be speaking with Sally Sara on ABC's Radio National Breakfast, about QLD’s proposal to reclassify dingoes as domestic dogs. It's not a good idea, and I'll explain why.

Hard to understand a govt that blocks teenagers from social media but has *no* issue with them accessing online gambling platforms at all, or with them being bombarded with ads for online gambling.
Australia’s teen social media ban has a gaming-sized loophole
The list of banned platforms requires mental gymnastics that the government has struggled to explain, and ignores where kids actually spend their time.
