Australia rejected the right's agenda, we'll see if Labor do the same
We are about to find out whether the Labor government has the bravery to govern without the approval of right-wingers.

Chip's now on the hospo beat?
So The Age has churned out "special series" on exclusive men's clubs, then private golf clubs, now restaurant tycoons. All suitably fawning over supposed powerful elites. Tell you what, why not just save time and do one called "Rich arseholes, and why we suck up to them".🙄

Exactly. The Australian Electoral Commission is a marvel - independent of political influence with redistribution decisions made based solely on demographic data. There's no way state governments can gerrymander the seats. They register voters, run the elections & count the votes & do it very well.

Meanwhile, the Australian government consolidates its commercial links with this merchant of death and state terror, Palantir. #auspol
Palantir is suing the Swiss magazine Republik who pointed out Palantir's links to ICE and the Genocide in Gaza, which caused the Swiss Government to call them a catastrophic threat and ban Palantir from Swiss Government.

Useful explanation & warning for #Auspol re One Nation down the track.

I don’t think #NZpol needs the explanation. It’s brazen there.

It’s fun to make jokes about Angus Taylor, I plan to do it until he gets rolled by his party, but he was with McKinsey for years, so he’s a thorough bastard.

Let’s never forget he’s a thorough bastard.

This is such welcome news! 👏

I’ve been campaigning on this issue for a long time - I introduced a private member’s bill in the 47th Parliament to abolish seismic blasting.
Coastal communities delighted by 'rare' seismic testing rejection
A controversial seismic testing proposal off Victoria's south-west coast has been rejected in a "rare" move from the offshore regulator.

Remember Hannah Thomas was bashed by NSW police.

The police made up fictitious charges and false allegations that were later found to be fabricated by police.

Why wasn't the officer charged with fraud?

This week, police laid false charges on demonstrators. More fraud. It's totally corrupt
