In its second reversal today, UT Austin now says students arrested in protests will be allowed back on campus *for any purpose*—two hours after saying they would only be allowed back for "academic reasons" and the same day it distributed flyers saying those arrested were fully banned!

As a Habs fan in the early 2000s I was pre-programmed to assume that Hockey Night in Canada was biased against Montreal. I learned to appreciate Bob Cole later on, but this call was always my favourite even as a 9 year old.

It is possible to (1) deplore how Columbia University's administration is reacting to the on-campus protests and (2) also think it is very bad that a bunch of ghoulish, antisemitic opportunists have taken it upon themselves to hang out just off-campus, harassing Jewish students and celebrating 10/7.
