Tbc, I'm blocking all fake leftists who refuse to grapple with our country's well established racism & misogyny & hide behind "economic anxiety," which it was never about, not in the 1930s, 2016, or 2024, & I'm not putting up with anyone who pretends otherwise. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

Trump is ranting barely coherently to McDonald's franchise owners: "The one pilot said, 'skedaddle!' And that thing just turned on its side -- pppph. And it's so unbelievable. And that knocked out Iran nuclear capability."

I genuinely see the same thing you do - MTG was a Qanon true believer and found Trump coverup of the Epstein files as shattering to her entire worldview. I think people are more cynical about it because they understand political ambition more than Qanon true belief.

and it makes the moral outrage look selective at best and hypocritical at worst.

This country throws righteous fury at Epstein and it should but what about the states that let middle-aged men legally marry girls who aren’t old enough to drive? What about the judges who signed off on it?

Everyone’s buzzing about the Epstein files the names, the flights, the enablers. But here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud: while the country fixates on who visited Epstein’s island, the United States itself has been running a quiet, legal pipeline of child marriage for decades,
Epstein Files Reminder: USA has a child marriage epidemic—it's even worse than you think
Despite more than 300,000 documented child marriages since 2000, Republicans are fighting to keep it that way

Anyone else remember when Larry Summer said women have a lower threshold for mathematical intelligence than men?

Years before he was selected to join the Obama administration.

While he was president at Harvard.

The blanket statements men make about women predict how they treat individuals.

Folks, I don't think the lawyers can make anymore sense of this.
But what APPEARS to have happened is:

1) They no-billed one count.
2) SOMEONE IN THE GOVT LEARNED THAT.
3) They put together a 2-count indictment and, w/o re-presenting the case, got them to vote for those.

The whole thing is cooked.
"So they separated it."

That's what the only indictment against Jim Comey is.

"Count Two and Three were then put" by someone who may or may not be Lindsey Halligan "in a different package."

This is why state charges are important now. Trump is pardoning anyone who's paid him off or shown that they will break the law for him if asked.

I daresay that the pardon power of the president needs to be curtailed. In their naivete, the founders erred to presume good faith actors and checks.

Remember when Bannon went to prison? How abt Roger Stone? Don’t be surprised if you don’t the media has helped you forget just who is & isn’t a convicted felon. How? By failing to add it to the stories in which a name is mentioned. Even Convicted Felon #CF47 is ignored.
It’s the media’s version of a “pardon” when news outlets fail to remind the public of past crimes by Trump and his mischief makers such as Steve Bannon.
