To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.

I don't think $140k makes sense as a "poverty line," but worth noting such a family is likely paying a similar or higher total effective tax rate than most billionaires.
American taxes are structured to make it hard to turn income into savings but easy to grow existing wealth into greater wealth.

Really hope women leave men like this & stop accepting the gaslighting or hollow apologies. Men whose humor is cruel are cruel. They're never going to stop being cruel.
