There has been a massive problem with my factory rebuild. In extending the second set of refineries to match the first, those extra refineries are now built on solid ground so I can't just lift/drop inputs and outputs to those machines from the logistics floor.

Back on my Satisfactory bullshit.

Redesigning my Aluminium factory. Had originally designed these cute little enclosures for the refineries but I had build them for aesthetics, using overclocked machines to minimise space use.

The fact that this man, whose work we all know, had to sell off valuables to pay for cancer treatments tells you how rigged this system is against us, and how fucked the average person is if we don't effect some change. May his memory be a blessing.

Van Der Beek won me over years ago when he released an ‘anniversary’ gif of himself recreating the crying Dawson meme along with a bunch of other reaction gifs so we’d have a Dawson for every occasion.

(Forgive the SEO’d in to nonsensicality article but the full collection is here)

Obviously the closing point about how gamification makes the divide between work and the rest of life slippery is the big important takeaway here, but also, lol, lmao, i simply love to read about the gamer's grotesque urge.

Oh fuck. What a good dude he was. I got to spend three days with him on the set of RULES OF ATTRACTION & he was an absolute prince. He noticed some kids sneak on set & said "We should go over and say hi before security gets them." Just a really kind, funny, charming man. Heartbroken for his family.

Today’s the 89th anniversary of the end of the Flint Sit-Down Strike, which led to GM recognizing the @uaw.org for the first time.

I remembered to wear my shirt with images from the strike and plug my game about it, Striking Flint, on the actual date this year.

“Runaway train, never coming back”
Okay, we have our metaphor.

“Wrong way down a one-way track”
Boy, that certainly is a problem.

“Seems like I should be getting somewhere”
STOP. That is the EXACT OPPOSITE PROBLEM of being on a runaway train.

I am deeply concerned about the potential impact of NSW Police actions on vulnerable youth. Images that show Muslims in peaceful prayer being pulled and thrown without warning can be leveraged to radicalise and recruit disaffected young people. This is extremely dangerous and counterproductive.

There is absolutely no legitimate reason to have included that.
I have to say, I do not love this new trend of large liberal accounts with millions of followers identifying Jews.

Adorable. :)
This reminds me so much of Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, who when quizzed about why he took a story in a certain direction usually answers along the lines of, “Because I wanted to draw [insert thing he wanted to draw].”
