Not the big point but as someone who skated a lot those skates look a lot like bont parkstars-if they are they’re not toys nor cheap to replace. It’s not like shoes, we get invested in our skates, upgrading parts etc so I hope a friendly skate shop helps her out if they were just left there

Not the big point but as someone who skated a lot those skates look a lot like bont parkstars-if they are they’re not toys nor cheap to replace. It’s not like shoes, we get invested in our skates, upgrading parts etc so I hope a friendly skate shop helps her out if they were just left there

Having to explain to someone that not everyone has friends, but also that not having friends is not the norm. There's so much I'm learning about elderly care and (undiagnosed) Autism and it's breaking my heart. Not something to look forward to. Not that getting old is all fun and giggles for others.

This really sounds fine in the abstract. But the specific people "changing their mind" that we're mad about earn enormous salaries on the basis of their opinions, and none are considering why or how they were wrong, and barely even conceding they that they were.
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?
