"Tzefardea Tzedek" (Frog of Righteousness)

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)

1/ If accurate, this is almost certainly a conflict with the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the use of the military for domestic law enforcement, including the National Guard if they are federalized.

I was blessed to become friends with a man in Gaza named Ahmed. I was connected to him through a friend who works at Doctors Without Borders.

He is a truly sweet person who has lost more than most can imagine. Donations poured into him early on, but now when people need it most, he is struggling.
Help Ahmed rebuild home & hope for his dad & new bride
Update 4/22: Ahmed and Nada are married and had a joyful wedding - but are still paying off the costs of their wedding items and the rebuilding due to the skyrocketing prices created by the two month ...

Today, Trump posted to Truth Social the false and misleading claim that an Executive Order he will sign tomorrow will reduce prescription drug prices "almost immediately, by 30% to 80%."

Please do not make any adjustments to your budgeting based on this lie.

There's a reason they didn't release the names of the people who authored the report, they literally aren't even doctors with medical experience. An MIT philosophy professor is one of the authors.
If you open the anti-trans HHS report’s appendix in NotePad, you’ll see that it was compiled by Alex Byrne.

The appendix is a rigorous, scientific overview of systematic reviews.

Alex Byrne is an MIT philosophy professor with no apparent background in science, let alone expertise in it.

Lol. They released their 400 page US version of the Cass Review and refused to even name who the authors were. It's a glorified book report.

Anyway, this is out now y'all. I'll be looking it over today.

My thoughts on the Take It Down Act as someone who used to handle copyright takedown (and other) requests at Google. 🧵

As many have said, this law will be used as the ultimate weapon for the Trump Admin to censor speech from their political opponents (and more).

You don't necessarily need to say "image of" in your alt text for users to know it's an image. Screen readers will announce that it's an image. But it can help readers to specify if it's a hand-drawn image, Polaroid, infographic, screenshot, chart, map, diagram, or so on.

It's not even an exaggeration. The same guidance bans trans women from women's bathrooms and trans men from men's bathrooms. They then said trans women can be banned from men's bathrooms and trans men from women's bathrooms. Trans people literally cannot use any bathroom.

This is functionally what the Cass Review was in the UK and lots of people in prestige media swallowed it whole while accusing trans people ourselves of "politicizing science" by pointing that out
NEW: After cancelling nearly all projects on trans health, the Trump admin has now directed the NIH to study the negative consequences of transitioning.

This will create “a distorted research ecosystem where only politically favorable findings are permitted to exist”, researcher Harry Barbee says.
