Saturday at a rally and march in honor of Renee Nicole Good.

I stayed on our local Mom for Liberty, Beth Bourne (of Harassing-Hawai’i-Drag-Queens fame) to prevent her from following and harassing other marchers and families.

How she reacted still surprised me.

People in Denver could recite Mamdani's platform. Not a single person has ANY IDEA what the DC Dems would do. No one.

Imagine having a soul so small you see people’s love for themselves and each other as a threat.
I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them
What a moment.

Benito Bowl was beautiful, moving, powerful, joyous. So many brown and Black folks representing ALL of the Americas.

This is MY America. I think the people who don’t want to live in this one should go back to where their families came from.

The moral cowardice these days is A LOT.

They're literally running out of lawyers in a state where the district judges are practically at war with the administration.
BREAKING: 8 more U.S. Attorneys in MN resign from Trump’s DOJ in protest as backlash grows.
This isn’t normal; isn’t routine reshuffling. It’s a rebellion.
Last month, 6 veteran prosecutors quit in protest. Normal staffing for the MN DOJ’s office is around 50 attorneys. They’re down to just 9.

There is a continuous organized tradition of border resistance going back more than 170 years among the Kumeyaay, Tohono O'odham and Yaqui people in what's today called California and Arizona.

Tear gas is banned in international warfare, yet classified as a “riot control agent” that law enforcement can use for crowd control.

“It just doesn’t work well, and it hits the weakest people the most, and causes the most complications in them,” an anesthesiology professor at Duke University said.
Tear Gas Is Way More Dangerous Than Police Let On

If I got paid for every time I had to credential myself, I’d probably make more money.
I think a lot of men genuinely don't understand that women HAVE to credential ourselves in these conversations ("I say that as an organizer with over 20 years of experience").

Most especially in discourse about male-coded fields, organizing being one of them. We get dismissed outright if we don't.

Yes.

I am also certain that they want to adapt this plan where they target LGBTQ+ folks instead of immigrants.

The local Mom for Liberty is calling me “Transtifa.” Her personal pro-bono lawyer is Harmeet Dhillon.
Is the administration’s bit that they encourage right-wing influencers to find “fraud” in blue states; influencers “investigate” and publish propaganda claiming said widespread fraud was responsibility of immigrants; and then gov’t sends in ICE to terrorize people because of it?

Moving perpendicular to the beam direction quickly reduces exposure since LRAD effectiveness drops dramatically outside the focused cone.

The GEO Group, CoreCivic, and Palantir

ALL OF THEM ARE PUBLICLY TRADED

GEO Group = GEO
CoreCivic = CXW
Palantir = PLTR

Like everything else in the USA, you gotta hit them in the packet book.

Here’s what I want to know:

How will the GOP react when caught between their rabid, white supremacist base and the reality of losing elections?

So far, they’ve been using cheating to win elections anyway.

“How does a Republican lose by 14 points in a safe conservative Texas state Senate seat that President Trump carried by 17 points in 2024? Answer: When there’s a voter backlash against the Trump Administration, notably its mass deportation debacles.” www.wsj.com/opinion/a-te...

This is entirely predictable, because the right responds with violence when they don’t get their way.

Meanwhile, they keep trying to portray nonviolent dissent as violence.
