I don't need to imagine this, my poor octogenerian dad spent several hours in a Croydon hospital corridor ER overspill last year, which at one point included watching another patient vomiting over his bed rail with nobody to clear it up for ages. Not good.

I was excited when someone in New York city offered to swap apartments with me for a month. It's a while since I've gone back to my second country and my latest US passport is unused. But they backed out and I've got to say, I'm mostly relieved, who knows where we'll by May!

Listening to this I imagine I'm doing a vigourous exercise I can no longer do. It stimulates the same neurons that fire when the exercise is being done. I unexpectedly discovered via hypnosis that part of chronically ill grief was these neurons 'feeling' neglected. That blew my neuroscientist mind!

No surprises, I live in London and it's been over 5 years since I've seen the large central London hospital service I'm supposedly under. We joined myriad artists in condemning it and threatening to cancel our gigs, they cancelled the conference, our gig was fantastic, activism works x

I love this Dr Zack Shan chat. As a neuroscientist with ME, I got hugely excited about his work when he applied for a grant with ME Research UK, who I'm a Trustee of. I went out for bat for him as part of our science committee who awards the grants. I can't wait to see the team's results 🥰🥰🥰
