I am very curious to see what Thanksgiving travel days look like this year. Will people switch from planes to trains/bus? Driving? Or just stay home? Or try to fly regardless? And how will that differ from audience here versus country at large?

We could make this real fucking simple. Call it Medicare for All. Single-payer. Whatever. Insurance cos as government contractors or eliminate the sector entirely and pay direct to providers. I don’t give a shit. But access to healthcare is a basic human right and we should start acting like it.

Food banks want your money! they can do more with your money than with stuff.
Mutual aid groups often want stuff! Mine has a food fridge!
