There’s no rationale for this ignorance any more. There are thousands of credible studies. There are thousands of online advocates trying to hand-feed people basic information on transmission and risk. There are thousands of news articles. If you still don’t get it, you just don’t want to.
Not understanding why people are still masking when COVID is still very much killing people and the government is disincentivizing and moving to restrict and take away vaccines is… not very smart

So it goes without saying, but let's say it anyway: the concentration of attacks on trans people isn't because trans people are the only people fascists hate (although they absolutely do hate them). It's because they're the people they think non-fascists are least likely to defend.

Read up on European and Korean general strike tactics and organising. Americans don’t know how to do this, in part because of its size, in part because of the brutal history of union busting, and in part because of its cult of individualism.
It’s time to start wrapping our heads around the real possibility that collective action and even a general strike are required.

A lot of things suck in this lifetime, but I remember when the thought of this was incomprehensible. This is beautiful.
I used to work in healthcare. The org I worked for started to use gender neutral language around pregnancy thanks to my coworker. CEO stopped that today bc “men can’t get pregnant.” Transphobia on full display. The little progress made is being stripped away. Im not surprised but its still bullshit.
