In the 1970s, this tiny medieval church faced the prospect of demolition. Thankfully we saved it from that fate and it is now cared for by an active and loving group of volunteers.

Hard not to be. From what I have seen of the Epstein files, I could - by some distance - have a far more informed chat about politics, world affairs or economics with any of the graduate trainees I work with than I could with the late Jeffrey.
I’ve been radicalised into the view that the very rich are as a rule not just obnoxious, but also stupid and ignorant.

Moran was born in Philadelphia in 1864, he made his reputation as a figure painter, although he also painted landscapes.

The Epstein class loves to cite Machiavelli and so forth but they are still deeply insecure people who don't even have the guts to look people in the eye when they fire them. They know they should be ashamed, and this one of the reasons why it's important we constantly criticize their bad behavior.
I've written about the overarching post story, causes, underlying pattern. But the failure of Lewis or Bezos to even show up, literally or figuratively, on a day of devastating cuts epitomizes the profound lack of character and accountability that is so common place today within the American elite.
