NCAA COI has released its punishment/resolution for CMU for Connor Stalions being on the sideline at MSU. Bunch of show causes for individuals and a minor but notable financial punishment for the school — no on-field sanctions for the new staff in place.

This goes back to something I’ve tried to argue for so long — people want forgiveness when they should be working towards atonement. The first is a burden on the person you’ve hurt to absolve you. The second is a lifelong process on your part to be better. It doesn’t require forgiveness.
