This right here is theeeee thing preventing me and so many others from reporting out … oh, at least a dozen stories that I can think of offhand. Even folks who have managed to make a good living as solo outfits can’t afford to get lawyered at scale
individual newsletters also don’t have the infrastructure for the more investigative journalism that risks lawsuits so we lose that when we tell people essentially to start a blog instead of having a robust newsroom with resources!!!

From a conversation earlier today I can share at least CMU HC Matt Drinkall is hip to getting rid of conference title games and moving the season up a week to get it all done sooner.
Almost TWO FULL WEEKS between quarterfinals and semifinals, this sport has no idea what it's doing.
The CFP announces dates and bowl games for the Quarterfinal and Semifinal games for the next 2 seasons. These games will all continue to be hosted by the bowls. National championships will be Las Vegas and New Orleans.

I intellectually understand the criticism of “you bought your team” but it lands with no venom in the current climate because like… that’s what you’re supposed to do to an extent? Further, just buying good players ≠ winning. Ask any Kentucky fan.
