There are a lot of things I wish people from other states knew, and here's one: most of the churches here are VERY MUCH part of the resistance to the occupation.
The reality Im seeing in MN is that most of the mainline churches, even moderately conservative ones, are taking love thy neighbor very seriously.

Our annual meeting at the cathedral on Sunday ended with parishioners discussing what to do under this occupation to care for our community. 🕯
If Miller wants to stop the recruitment and training of domestic opposition, he's going to have to start shutting down ELCA parishes.

Huh. Post-Convergence social media wash from my devices is kinda great.

Bluesky, Discord, and private forums are WAY better for my brain right now.

It is Saturday night and I am four games into a curling tournament. I am not done and will play on Sunday morning in a semi-final for the 2nd of nine consolation brackets.

Playing a tournament with 96 teams is wild. It is also a lot of curling!! #bigspiel

The Verge just noted the fact that a Cybertruck has been spotted as part of the motorcade of the president-elect...naming the article "President Cybertruck".

That plays well on so many levels.

So as a Gen X'er, I have been pondering what the hell is up with Gen X specifically and I have a couple of theories.
Based on the information we have now, young white men were more likely to support Harris than any other age group.

Man-O-Sphere garbage is clearly a problem but Gen X white dudes are more right-wing and far more likely to vote.
