trans guy in st paul. prayerbook catholic in the episcopal church. anti-fascist. he/they. pax per sanguinem crucis.
We did rite 1 choral eucharist for epiphany, and presiding was a retired priest who has rite 1 in his BONES. my first rite 1 mass ever where there was not even the tiniest bit of stumbling on words. He prayed the eucharistic prayer with CONVICTION.

Thankful for the way this stressful day ended. 🕯

Witnessed an ICE kidnapping on way to work. I tried to stop but they had her in their car so fast and sped off. Terrorists. Just fucking terrorists.

I've actually read most of the OT at least once, I think at this point I only havent read all of Jeremiah and all the deuterocanon except for Tobit.

But it's been a long time since Ive read most of it in more than the small lectionary chunks from the BCP office!
Now that I'm mostly settled into my new home, I have a new year's resolution!: I plan to read all the Old Testament, including the apocrypha! I have read the OT much less than the NT, other than Genesis & the Psalms which I won't include in the plan.

So this will be fun and new, but more doable!🕯

O Lord, arise, help us;
And deliver us for thy Name’s sake.

O God, we have heard with our ears, and our fathers have
declared unto us, the noble works that thou didst in their
days, and in the old time before them.

O Lord, arise, help us;
and deliver us for thy Name’s sake.

Huge influx of ICE and I see that many are staying at a hotel half a mile from my work.

Lot of truck drivers who pick up at my warehouse are immigrants. Very worried.

listen, I'm not a furry but my partner is an aspiring one (its a shockingly expensive hobby!) and I promise you, most furries are not the weird people who drove off Parker Malloy
bluesky gamergate is furries chasing parker malloy off the site because she gently mocked a mod that gave boobs to a character in a video game marketed at children. that tracks.

kind of darkly funny that "gender studies" is the stereotypical "useless degree" because gender studies will help you understand a large and important chunk of the current psychosis in american life

We really should consider an exorcism of the White House the Capitol and the Supreme Court at a minimum when all of this is over.

This is only half tongue in cheek.
This administration’s entire social media team has the spirit of Anti-Christ.

Trans News Network has a policy against platforming bigotry. As such, we have declined to publish the Times' statement which included blatant transphobia.

A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.
