I briefly enjoyed the idea of having a functional opposition.
Not making rash promises now, because I want to read full coverage soon and have time to mull things over. But my (probably to be changed later) knee-jerk reaction is that I won’t be voting for any more Democrats. We need a new party.1/2

Glad Cincinnati did the right thing in our mayoral election today. Even more important than being "not the half-brother of JD Vance", Aftab Pureval has two big things going for him:
1. He's been a good mayor.
2. He really likes my dogs (photo attached for proof)

Just got my new passport. It’s always both invigorating and depressing to start over with a blank one. My previous passport was almost full, and I hope to fill this one, too — all 50 pages!
It’s harder now that more countries don’t use stamps or issue sticker visas.
Anyway, adventures await!

Apropos of nothing, I'm grateful that I have an excellent pension coming one day, and they do a great job of managing the assets to make that possible. But, golly, the customer service is probably the worst of any organization I deal with.
