I’m curious (not looking to fight) why you prefer C of E services over ECUSA? And have you look at Canada? Maybe they’re too close to ours…

The three-legged stool is from Hooker just like “Celtic liturgy” is from ancient Celts.

It’s the first thing in my written funeral instructions. The only life to celebrate is Jesus Christ and his victory over death.

I don’t think that goes far enough. No more donations to any Dem candidates until they get their party in order. More voting for third-party candidates, people who stand for something.

The Dem party won’t heal itself unless we the people hold them accountable

You might say, but GOP is worse! Maybe? Today is a good example of Dems going along with that GOP wanted in the first place. So where’s opposition in that? Dems just gave GOP plans legitimacy by voting for them, allowing claims of “bipartisan”.

We need leaders with vision and courage. 2/2

Wouldn’t it be great if the Democrats had a moral compass, instead of just flailing around? At least we had a few days.

People keep telling me it’s impossible, but we really need a new political party.

A fanciful raven? I’m just repeating what was on the sign…. 🐦‍⬛

I think that’s true, and I also think it feels different to insiders and guests. If you want to know how your church is doing, invite a “mystery worshiper” — someone unknown to everyone in the parish — and listen to their feedback. Maybe your place is great? Or maybe not.

Except that for many guests and newcomers, the peace is almost torture. They stand around and watch while all the regulars greet their friends. This can be mitigated with teaching, of course.

Yes, but I need to be a hymn because of reasons. Thanks though — that’s a good one!

Thanks for the update. Prayers ascending!

OK, what’s the most metal hymn?

Keep us posted on the election, please!

And those are excellent shoes for the occasion

Good way to start the day, but not exactly a catchy tune

That’s a great one!

We have more stuff on the way! I’m right with you on the need.

I’m also VERY glad to boost work that’s already happening on the ground. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel, we just need to aim a laser pointer at the one we have (and not the one that’s rolling around with an angry message)
