When a crime becomes big enough, it indicts the entire structure of society and the institutions that allowed it, not just the guy who did it.

At a certain level of atrocity it becomes impossible to pretend it was just one person, and not an entire system crafted to encourage and protect them.

I am calling upon the people of Ireland to immediately begin construction of a thread on this site about how you or someone you know was roasted for a fashion choice. We need it.

All roasts must have come from Irish people *only*. Please respect this important rule, it makes a difference.

So Dems demanded an extension on subsidies or else. Then they caved. The GOP being smart is now adding abortion restrictions to a subsidies extension forcing Dems to either sell out on abortion or vote no on the subsidies they demanded in the first place.

They just keep getting clowned.

Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

He didn’t tell police or the FBI. He didn’t tell family or friends. The one person he told was ProPublica reporter @josh-kaplan.bsky.social.

It’s not empathy if your primary goal is to put the least amount of effort into making someone behave in a way that makes you comfortable.

And permanently makes them honor you as a savior

It is obscene that British media, and her own mother, have fully obscured that Brianna Ghey was murdered.

They've just glossed right over it, smoothly turning it into a narrative about suicide as if that is what happened.

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

It's hard to escape the conclusion that "moderate" Democratic Senators view their job as creating talking points for ads rather than accomplishing anything
Steve Inskeep: You think the Republicans voting with you here will not only agree to these measures, but actually try to do something if the administration ignores them?

Sen Cortez Masto: If they go back on their word, then the American public will know where the Republicans stand.

I will scream this a million times and then more for good measure.

When you talk about Israel and influence peddling, you need to be very clear WHY you are talking about Israel in the given context.

Because otherwise you are entering "Jews secretly control the government" territory
So name the other interest groups, not just the ones people associate with Jews
I think the relevance is in showing that they are consistently immoral & unprincipled people who take money & marching orders from multiple evil interest groups.

It's not a surprise they are united in this when they are united in other injustices
